Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding market reach for Houzwork.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the interior design or related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives to drive growth and expand market reach for Houzwork.com.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts, targeting both residential and commercial clients.
Build and nurture relationships with architects, contractors, real estate developers, and other industry partners to generate leads and referrals.
Collaborate with the design team to develop tailored design solutions and proposals that meet the needs and aspirations of prospective clients.
Conduct sales presentations and meetings with prospective clients to showcase the company's portfolio, capabilities, and value proposition.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure new business and achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and collateral to support business development efforts.
Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and foster relationships within the design community.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles, preferably within the interior design or related industry.
Strong network of contacts within the design community, including architects, contractors, developers, and real estate professionals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
